Studio Rae provides interior design services across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, the Hunter Valley, the Central Coast and surrounding NSW regions. For large-scale projects or full-service design, we also consider travel outside these areas on request.

We first schedule an introductory meeting to see if we are a match, after all, we are going to work on your home together and if it is a full service project we could be working together +1 years. We also review both parties expectations and ensure all preliminary answers have been discussed prior to your paid consultation.

3. Do you take on renovations as well as new builds?

As early as possible.

Engaging Studio Rae during the pre-construction or early planning phase ensures your floor plan, spatial layout, materials, and design details are intentional from the start. Early involvement prevents costly changes later and allows your builder, joiner, and trades to work from a cohesive, well-resolved design.

4. How early should I engage an interior designer?

Studio Rae does not offer general project management services; however, we remain closely involved throughout the build. This includes liaising with your builder, attending key site visits, reviewing installation accuracy, and answering any design-related queries to uphold the integrity of your design.

5. Do you offer project management?

Every project is unique, so fees are determined by scope, scale, and service level. After your Initial Consultation, we provide a tailored Project Proposal outlining your full scope of work, inclusions, and fixed design fee. This ensures complete transparency, with no surprises as your project progresses.
